PETAL et al. Scriptwriting and Storyboarding workshop presented to the Chicago Game Developers Group was a resounding success. Sonya, PETAL et al. Events Manager and Writer, delivered a dynamic presentation to a captivated audience of students in a free four-hour workshop. The room was full of energy as participants brainstormed ideas, read story openings they created during the workshop, and made suggestions to classmates for enhancing their scripts.
Sonya has a way of making everyone feel comfortable in sharing their ideas in a supportive setting. Many students expressed interest in taking their ideas further, pointing out that they had never tried to actually write a script on paper, and were very happy with their results and willing to take them further.
