PETAL et al. is committed to turning out dedicated, responsible talented Entertainment Technology Artists across the globe and looks forward to providing creative, thought-provoking perspectives with a diversified group of students that have come up in different cultures and environments, explore ideas and exchange knowledge of animation, video games, mobile applications, visual effects and interactive media. It is our belief that everyone should have the opportunity to be in a position to excel in their career area of choice, enjoy their work (what they do), and open to serious challenges in pursuing their dreams and bringing them into fruition.
PETAL et al. was created for the sole purpose of operating exclusively for charitable and educational purposes under the guidelines of section 501c (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The formation of this Corporation and its expressed purposes are to provide training, mentoring, in an inspirational and motivational environment in the entertainment technology arts industry through infrastructure, education, workshops, seminars, support, troubleshooting and networking opportunities. Through mentoring, career-focused students will gain valuable skills that will prepare them to compete for gratifying jobs or establish and grow their own businesses; thus, providing growth, encouraging innovation, and creating new businesses and jobs.
Our purpose, through training and mentoring, is to prepare students so that they will be able to collaborate and compete globally in the video game development, interactive media, visual FX, animation, motion graphics/comics, virtual/augmented reality, simulation technology, mobile applications design & development and related industries.
The Teams that are chosen for our 16-week training will work for four months, and be part of an intensive comprehensive project-based program. The following services will be provided:
