Visit participating comic book stores in your area or via your online comic book store. “Free Comic Book Day is an annual promotional effort by the North American comic book industry to attract new readers to independent comic book stores.” The annual event is held on the first Saturday during the month of May. It was founded in 2002 by Joe Field and coordinated by Diamond Comic Distributors with over 2000 comic book stores world-wide participating. Don’t miss out.
